From the harbor you can see the sea and the Wadden Sea National Park. Large selection of hot and cold drinks on a manageable menu. Although it is only a takeout, there were vegan / vegetarian dishes on the menu, but not everywhere. Corona hygiene concept is taken very seriously.

Been there last year, fried herring was delicious, now come back with friends, ... But ... You can see where it can lead when the hospitality industry earns too much. Arrived after a long drive with 2 mobile homes and really hungry, everyone wanted to eat fish rolls, but were waved from the seat with a smug grin and said that our seniors cannot maneuver like that (he really doesn't trust older people) Space was empty except for 2 cars .. OK, asked again for Guten if we could take a roll with us and drive on immediately ... No down and that with a glow in my eyes that showed me, RV hate or just too much earned. The stalls below have better fried herring, as we have found. This is the only behavior that is very annoying and it also affects other diverse groups. Never go there again !!!

It is sunday. We started with the bikes in Bremerhaven. Coffee thirst and the desire for a crab roll have been driving us since the start. Everything is closed, but somehow we decide to drive up the dike. There it is, the place of desire. We feel like we're in New Scotland, Canada. Rough, of course ... nice. Cappuccino - delicious. The crab roll - not very cheap, but a treat with a super large portion of crabs, more than anywhere else. One of the highlights of our 400km tour.

Super delicious Matjes Smokey enjoyed on bread rolls. Just a 400 meter freighter drove past here. Great view of the harbor, small Prussia and the Weser. North Sea coast without Siebhaus, does not work!

Small family owned place right next to the little lighthouse. They have outdoor tables and chairs to sunbathe. Great cakes and different varieties of herring salads.

What a wonderful place in (almost) any weather, - whether the sun is shining or the wind blows your thoughts through each other - here it tastes easy: before running, after running, always 😉. Sensational cakes, tender fish and drinks are great. Outside or inside, no matter the main thing 'Siebhaus' and the sunset is especially nice here!

One of our must go places when staying in nearby Bremerhaven... Coffee, tea, cold drinks, cakes, snacks,... served by very friendly staff. Sitting outside in the folding chairs looking over the water and enjoying the sea breeze... Unbeatable package!
